Tilly (was Edie)'s story

Tilly (originally called Edie) came to the UK with her friend Henna in September 2021. They had both been living in a cage with lots of other dogs, with very little care and attention. Edie was quickly adopted, but unfortunately her adopter's health declined and they were no longer able to give her the exercise she needed, so she is looking for a new home.

Tilly is now a friendly, loyal and clever 5-year old girl, and is medium-sized at around 15kg. She can be a little bit nervous around men until she gets to know them. Tilly needs an active home with one or more other friendly, playful dogs. She would probably enjoy - and benefit from - some training classes: with work, her recall has improved. She is clean in the house and travels well in the car.

Tilly could possibly live with a confident cat - she tolerates them, but prefers to keep her distance. She will bark at other dogs that come running up to her but accepts visiting dogs to her house and likes to play. She has not met any children under 10, so any children in the home would need to be dog-savvy and over this age.

Homecheck will apply, and a few meetings will be needed prior to adoption - adoption fee of £150. Tilly has been tested for Brucella canis using the recommended APHA tests and is negative. She is neutered and up to date with all vaccinations. She is chipped and has her own passport. If you would like to adopt Tilly please complete our pre adoption form.
